Role Overview
As a Junior Support Analyst for Core Retail Systems, you will play a vital role in providing process and technical support to end-users across the organisation. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving system issues, supporting system enhancements, and ensuring a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide process and technical support for PLM, Oracle Merchandise, and Supply Chain systems, ensuring effective resolution of incidents and problems
• Participate in after-hours standby and support where required
• Analyse system issues, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate solutions
• Define, execute, and document test plans and test procedures to support system changes and enhancements
• Execute test cases to validate system improvements prior to deployment
• Assist with technical administration, configuration, and system maintenance in collaboration with third-party vendors
• Perform system administration, housekeeping, and routine operational tasks
• Assist with end-user support and training, including onboarding and guidance on system usage
Minimum Requirements & Skills
Education
• Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (Essential)
Experience
• At least 2 years and up to 3 years’ experience in a similar application or systems support role (Essential)

Skills & Competencies:
• Experience working with ERP systems (Advantageous)
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills (Essential)
• Good organisational and time management skills (Essential)
• Strong oral and written communication skills (Essential)
• Knowledge of databases and experience using SQL tools to interrogate and validate data (Advantageous)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Ability to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a team
